Photography can be a valuable component of an interior design portfolio, as it allows students to showcase their ability to capture and present their design work. However, a comprehensive interior design portfolio should also include hand-drawn sketches, technical drawings, mood boards, and other visual representations of design concepts. These additional elements demonstrate a student's creativity, technical skills, and design process, which are important aspects of studying interior design. Therefore, while photography is important, it should be supplemented with a variety of other visual materials to create a well-rounded portfolio for studying interior design. **

The symbol of a hand with an eye, often referred to as the Hamsa or Hand of Fatima, is a popular amulet in Middle Eastern and North African cultures. It is believed to provide protection against the "evil eye" and bring good fortune. The eye in the center of the hand is thought to ward off negative energy and bring blessings to the wearer. The Hamsa is also seen as a symbol of strength, power, and blessings in various spiritual and religious traditions. **

He was teaching that it is better to remove anything that causes us to sin, even if it is as important as a hand or an eye, rather than allowing it to lead us astray. It was a powerful illustration to convey the importance of taking drastic measures to maintain spiritual purity and avoid sin at all costs. **
